Un joven llamado Marlon se enamora desesperadamente de esta joven rebelde. Atrapado en su telaraña de fantasías, Marlon se ve obligado a seguirla ciegamente adonde ella lo lleve. Guiados por su deseo de llegar a la tierra soñada, la pareja emprende el éxodo brutal de los emigrantes latinoamericanos que entran ilegalmente en Estados Unidos, cruzando la frontera mexicana. Al llegar a Nueva York, Marlon y Reina se pierden el uno del otro. Y Marlon, impulsado por su obsesión hacia ella, desciende al infierno en su búsqueda. Driven by their will to reach their dreamland, the two embark on the brutal exodus of the Latin-American immigrants who cross illegally through Mexico. This adventure in narrated by Marlon on his voyage to find his love, his heroine, his Reina. Director colombiano, director colombiano que comenzó su carrera cuando dirigió su primer video musical con 17 años. Su visión creativa le ha llevado a ser nombrado por “Gatopardo magazine” como una de las 50 personas más influyentes del mundo del entretenimiento latinoamericano. Se trasladó a Los Ángeles donde debutó como director de cine con “Mentes en blanco”. “Paraíso Travel”, su segundo largometraje es más que la adaptación de una exitosa novela. Con esta película ha ganado el premio de público y jurado a la Mejor película en el Festival Internacional de cine latino de Los Ángeles 2008. DIRECTOR´S BIO & FILMOGRAPHY Simon Brand. Colombian director who began his career when he directed his first musical video for a local rock band at the age of 17. He has showed his creative vision to the point where Gatopardo magazine has designated him one of the fifty most influential people in the World of Latin American entertainment. He moved to Los Angeles where he made his debut as a film director with “Unknown” (Mentes en Blanco). Paraíso Travel, his second film is more than an adaptation of a successful novel. This film awarded him the Audience and Jury Award for Best Film at Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival 2008.
