SINOPSIS
Santiago de 2008. Teresa (45), Edmundo (40), Mario (25) y Patricia son cuatro habitantes de la ciudad, cuyas vidas se entrecruzan en medio de bocinazos, frenadas y alarmas de autos, pero que difícilmente llegan a tocarse. Sumidos en la vorágine urbana, cada uno de ellos persigue su sueño: Teresa una sicóloga que busca salvar vidas, Edmundo un peluquero que anhela tener un auto; Mario quiere entrar a la Filarmónica, y Patricia sobrevive. Cada uno anhela algo que pareciera ser asequible. Ninguno lo logra. Lo que obtendrán será inesperado.
SYNOPSIS
This is the Teresa´s story (45), Edmundo(40), Mario (25) y Patricia in Santiago of Chile 2008. They are four inhabitants of the city whose lives interbreed in middle of boots,stopped and alarms of cars, but that they difficulty are going to find each other.Plunged in the urban maelstrom, all of them have a dream: Teresa a psychologist who wants to salve lifes, Edmundo, a barber who wishes to have a car , Mario wants to enter, the Philharmonic and Patricia survives. Each one chases something that is seeming to be attainable. None achieves it. The only thing that they will obtain will be unexpected.

BIOFILMOGRAFÍA DEL DIRECTOR
Andrés Wood (Chile, 1965). Graduado de Economía en la Universidad Católica de Chile (1988), se traslada posteriormente a Nueva York dónde estudia cine (NYU).De vuelta en Chile dirige su primer largometraje, "Historias de Fútbol" (1997). Le sigue la serie de televisión "El Desquite" (1999) y el filme "La Fiera del Loco" (2001). Estas producciones han participado en los festivales de cine más importantes del mundo (Cannes, Venecia, San Sebastián, Toronto, Sundance). Paralelamente ha dirigido cortometrajes y decenas de comerciales a través de Wood Producciones.
DIRECTOR´S BIO & FILMOGRAPHY
Andrés Wood (1965, Chile). After studying economics at the University of Chile (1988) he left to go to New York, where he attended a film course. When he returned to Chile he made his first feature film 'Histories of football' (1977) which was a box office hit, the tv series “El Desquite” (1999) and the movie “The Beast of the Madman " (2001). These productions have taken part in the most important film festivals the world (Cannes, Venice, San Sebastian, Toronto, Sundance). “Machuca” was nominated for a Goya for the Best Spanish Language Foreign Film Category and it was also nominated for the Best Latin Film (2004).
