SINOPSIS
Elías ha cometido un gran pecado contra Dios y está convencido de que sobre sus hijos caerá la condena de una muerte prematura. Queriendo detener el temible castigo, dedicará su vida a construir una iglesia para obtener el perdón de Dios. La historia es narrada a través de la mirada de Aureliano, el hijo más joven y vulnerable, quién retratará la saga familiar en retablos religiosos.
SYNOPSIS
Elías has committed a great sin against God and is convenced that his children will be
Punished by premature death. Hoping to prevent the dreaded punishment, he dedicates his life to building a church so that God will forgive him. The story is told through the eyes of Aureliano, the youngest and most vulnerable son, who will portray the family saga in religious altarpieces.

BIOFILMOGRAFÍA DEL DIRECTOR
Ha escrito y dirigido cinco cortos de ficción destacan “Novia mía” mejor cortometraje en el Festival de Biarritz y en el Festival de Cine de Guadalajara y el “Ojo en la nuca”,Oscar Estudiantil al mejor cortometraje extranjero y el Ariel al mejor cortometraje de ficción.También ha escrito y dirigido dos largometrajes, “La Zona” y “Desierto adentro”. El primero ha recibido diversos reconocimientos internacionales como El León del Futuro a la mejor Opera Prima en la 64 Mostra Internazionale D´Arte Cinematografica di Venezia(2007) “Desierto adentro“, su segundo largometraje, espera ser estrenado en el marco del Festival de Cine de Guadalajara.
DIRECTOR´S BIO & FILMOGRAPHY
He has written and directed five fictional shorts, including “Novia mía” which received the award as Best Short Film at the Biarritz Festival and the Guadalajara Film Festival and “Ojo en la nuca”, which, received the student Oscar for Best Foreign Short and the Ariel for Best Fictional Short. He has also written and directed two feature films, “La Zona” and “Desierto Adentro”. The first received several international recognitions, including: the Lion of the Future for the Best Debut Film at the 64th International Venice Film Festival (2007) “Desierto adentro”, his second feature, closed the Cannes Critic´s Week 08.
